Clark Ventures is a privately held Atlanta-based firm specializing in the development, acquisition, and operation of upscale rental apartment communities. The company currently owns and operates a 3,700 unit portfolio in the Southeast.

Our Team

Jordan Clark

Jordan founded Clark Ventures in 2003 and with a superlative team has established a thriving multifamily operation headquartered in Atlanta. His forty years of experience in the real estate field include his time as the Atlanta city partner for Trammell Crow Residential.  In 1994, Jordan and other senior TCR partners co-founded Gables Residential, a multifamily REIT which then traded on the NYSE. At Gables, Jordan served as a board member and Chief Investment Officer overseeing nation-wide development, acquisition, and brokerage activities. Over the course of his career, he has served a leadership role in the development, acquisition, and operation of well over ten thousand apartment homes.

Jordan holds degrees from Davidson College, the University of Virginia, and the University of North Carolina. He lives in Atlanta and is active in a number of community and regional initiatives and boards.

Josh Mudd

Josh guides the firm’s strategy and leads daily operations, including asset management, acquisitions, dispositions, and investor relations. He began his real estate career in 2005 and joined Clark Ventures in 2013.  He manages the firm’s equity and lending partnerships and works closely with on-site staff to ensure they have the resources and support needed to deliver exceptional experiences for residents.

An Atlanta native, Josh earned his undergraduate degree from Furman University and an MBA from Emory University. He lives in Buckhead with his wife and three children. Outside of work, he enjoys time at the lake with family and friends, cheering on kids’ sports, and playing golf.

Thomas MacDonald

Across Clark Ventures’ existing portfolio, Thomas guides major construction projects and asset management, through pricing, capital project forecasting, and investor reporting.  Additionally, he leads the firm’s legal and diligence efforts for acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.  

Thomas started his career with The Walsh Group in Washington, D.C., overseeing structural and civil scopes on federal projects. An Atlanta native, Thomas returned home in 2016 to join Clark Ventures as a project manager.

Thomas holds a degree in Civil Engineering from George Washington University and a Master’s in Real Estate from Georgetown University. He lives in Marietta with his wife, their son, and a yellow lab.

William Armsby

William joined Clark Ventures in February 2018 and leads capital improvement initiatives across the Clark Ventures portfolio. His work spans amenity upgrades, infrastructure repairs, and value-add renovations, all executed with a focus on quality, efficiency, and long-term value.

With a background in commercial construction and custom woodworking, William brings hands-on expertise and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship. Over the years, he has managed a wide array of projects, including hundreds of unit renovations, full exterior siding and window replacements, and large-scale exterior improvements such as parking lot resurfacing, drainage upgrades, and roofing systems.  William maintains strong working relationships with engineers, architects, and interior designers to ensure thoughtful execution and code compliance. He oversees municipal inspections and coordinates with local officials to keep projects on schedule and aligned with regulatory standards.

William holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston and a master’s in real estate development from Georgia Tech. An Atlanta native, William resides in East Atlanta with his wife and two sons. Outside of work, he enjoys exercise, woodworking, fishing, and spending time with friends.

West Streib

West oversees the firm’s property acquisition strategy across the Southeast, including Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, the Carolinas, and Northwest/Central Florida. He is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and closing multifamily investments that align with the company’s growth objectives. In addition, he manages Clark Ventures’ broker network and supports the expansion of the firm’s debt and equity capital relationships.

Before joining Clark Ventures, West led investment initiatives within the Corporate Development groups at Invesco and KPMG. He also served as Executive Chairman of a privately held family business, guiding it through a successful sale to a strategic buyer.

An Atlanta native, West lives in the Morningside neighborhood with his wife and two daughters. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Georgia State Golf Association and as Vice Chairman of the TOUR Championship at East Lake Golf Club.
