Clark Ventures is a privately held Atlanta-based firm specializing in the development, acquisition, and operation of upscale rental apartment communities. The company currently owns and operates a 3,700 unit portfolio in the greater Atlanta metropolitan area.
Jordan Clark Founder
Jordan Clark is the Founder and CEO of Clark Ventures. He holds degrees from Davidson College, the University of Virginia, and the University of North Carolina (MBA). His real estate experience includes tenure with Trammell Crow Residential (1985-1994) where he was the Atlanta city partner in charge of regional multifamily development and acquisition initiatives, Gables Residential Trust (1994-2002) where he was Chief Investment Officer in charge of nation-wide development, acquisition, construction, and brokerage operations, and Clark Ventures (2003-present) where he has built and operated the current company.
Mr. Clark has spearheaded the development and acquisition of properties in excess of 25,000 multifamily units in his thirty year career. His development and renovation projects have won local and national awards. In addition to board positions at Gables Residential Trust, Progressive Real Estate, Inc., and the multifamily board of NAHB, Mr. Clark has enjoyed long term affiliations with ULI, NMHC, and the Atlanta Apartment Association. He has been actively involved with various initiatives at the Lovett School in Atlanta, Furman University, and Davidson College.
He is a long time Atlanta resident where he has developed an extensive number of relationships with key industry leaders locally and on the national scene as well.
Josh Mudd
Josh Mudd oversees all aspects of the company, including asset management, acquisitions, dispositions, and development. Josh has been a key player in the underwriting and acquisition of over 3,000 multifamily units, and has led value-add initiatives in excess of $50 million dollars across the portfolio. These initiatives include apartment renovations, new amenities, as well as entitlements and construction of additional density on existing assets. Josh manages the firm’s longstanding equity and lending relationships, and works directly with our on-site teams to ensure they have the resources necessary to deliver exceptional experiences to our residents. Josh is an Atlanta native, graduate of Furman University, and recipient of an MBA from Emory University. He resides in Buckhead with his wife and three young children.

Thomas MacDonald manages Clark Ventures’ underwriting and construction activities. He is an Atlanta native, having returned home to join Clark Ventures after working for the Walsh Group in Washington, D.C. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from George Washington University and a Master’s degree in Real Estate from Georgetown University.
William Armsby
William Armsby manages Clark Ventures’ extensive value-add construction program as well as our preventative maintenance efforts. He has a background in custom furniture, millwork and commercial construction. William’s passion for design and construction combined with a strong attention to detail make him a great fit for the varied projects we undertake at Clark Ventures. William is an Atlanta native, with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from the College of Charleston, and a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Development from GA Tech.

West has extensive experience in finance, capital sourcing and M&A through his roles at Invesco and KPMG. He holds a B.S. in International Business and Finance from the University of South Carolina, and is also a CFA Charterholder. He lives in Chamblee with his wife and two young daughters.
